Welcome to Rhodium Security. This is our assistive technology demo for SDA and SIL homes. Specialist Disability Accommodation and Supported Independent Living require technology that is reliable, accessible and designed around the person. At Rhodium Security in Melbourne, we design and install complete assistive technology solutions that support independence, safety and dignity. Let's look at the devices and how they fit into an SDA or SIL home. We integrate automated doors and access control so residents can enter and exit with ease using simple wall controls, fobs or app commands. Lighting systems allow lights to be switched or dimmed from an accessible panel or voice command where suitable. Motorised blinds and curtains open and close on schedule or at the touch of a button. Climate control maintains comfortable temperatures automatically. Emergency communication is critical.
