Designed to upgrade analogue intercom systems, it offers exceptional transmission range and excellent compatibility with existing wiring, making it an ideal solution for modernizing intercom systems in older buildings. CABLING ARRANGEMENT: The Akuvox 2-wire kit is designed so that only a single 2-core cable is required between the indoor monitor and the outdoor door station. This 2-wire connection carries both power and communication, making it ideal for replacing older analogue intercoms where existing cabling is already in place. The indoor monitor then connects to the internet by Ethernet or Wi-Fi so the SmartPlus mobile app accounts can receive calls and unlock the door remotely.
