1. Bring a useful brief
- Sketch or photos of the areas to cover
- Camera and recorder model numbers
- Budget and desired recording period
- Installation or equipment-only needs
Keep passwords and private recordings private. Model labels and property sketches are enough to start.
2. Ask during the demonstration
- Which model and lens am I seeing?
- What changes in my property's lighting?
- How do I replay and export an event?
- What does phone access require?
Ask for a night-mode example where available. A demonstration cannot reproduce every property condition.
3. Compare the same written scope
Use this with any provider. Confirm GST, installation inclusions and any ongoing charges before agreeing.
