BEFORE BUYING
[ ] Sketch entrances, windows, internal routes and detached buildings.
[ ] Record pets, obstacles and nighttime movement requirements.
[ ] Confirm hub, regional radio version and device compatibility.
[ ] List hub, contacts, motion detectors, sirens, controls and accessories.
[ ] Separate equipment, installation, SIM/data and monitoring costs.

SETUP AND TESTING — COMPLETE WITH YOUR INSTALLER
[ ] Owner account, two-factor authentication, space and rooms configured.
[ ] Hub online; required communications and backup paths checked.
[ ] Every device paired, named and assigned to the correct room.
[ ] Signal and detection tests completed at final mounting locations.
[ ] Door contacts, permanent fixings and tamper protection checked.
[ ] Arrival, departure and Night Mode routines demonstrated.
[ ] Controlled siren, notification and monitoring tests completed.
[ ] Monitoring provider notified before and after tests, where applicable.
[ ] Power-loss and connection-loss behaviour demonstrated and recorded.
[ ] Household permissions and installer access agreed.
[ ] Outstanding faults resolved; maintenance and support contacts recorded.
